In a world where media holds a greater influence when it comes to determining what is acceptable, you can't help but yield to its demands or feel ostracized when you go against the mainstream. Based on statistics, it's women who easily succumb to its caprices. I have seen lots of women, in TV and in person, starve themselves just to buy the latest fashion.
As I was blog hopping earlier, and visited some fashion blogs,it occurred to me that media's influence already seeped through the world of men. I thought the whole "metrosexual revolution" was over by the year 2004 or 2005 but in reality, it still is here only bearing another name more acceptable to straight men's ears--grooming.
Products which were traditionally targeted to the female population now has its counterparts for men. And, as if those "manly" products are not enough, several medical practitioners are now starting to specialize on male body enhancements specifically, penile implants.
Of course I want a bigger one, just like any Asian guy would. However, the idea of enduring the whole surgical process creeps me out! I've been to surgery once, when I was 8, and until now I still fear surgical cuts and I don't want to go through that again. Besides, it's not really the size that matters, right? Right? Hmmm... is it?
